This is crazy ambitious for a jam game! It's unbelievable! Great work! I don't think I'll ever do 3D in a jam 🤣😂
Thanks you for playing!
I liked the music and the snow. It looks magical.
I didn't finish the game because I didn't know where to go. It was too dark to see the path, and when I managed to make progress, I fell and had to start everything from the beginning. Very frustrating, in my opinion.
I'd suggest you use the campfires as checkpoints and try to add something that could guide us to the next campfire. It is too easy to get lost and disoriented.
Thanks for the comment, if I do decide to continue this game those will be the first things I attempt to implement for sure.
The music and the snow effect made for a very pretty vibe. It was so dark, though, that I started to get lost as I was hopping from ice plank to ice plank. And then to have to go all the way to the start, was frustrating. I gave it 3 solid tries and had to give up. This could make a for a really nice experience with a story. Was I collecting wood and plates along the way?
Thanks for the comment, the wood is used to increase your torche's light strength. As it slowly will fade out. Which in turn will increase how quickly you freeze.
