I love the puzzle game , it is a very good idea, there was variation and lots of levels too. Sadly I got to 21 but when I started over game starts back from 1 and there is no level selection.

Wow, thanks!  To be honest, I hadn't anticipated enough interest in a jam setting to think of saves.  If you (or anyone) is dying to see whatever was missed, feel free to download the Godot project off Git and play the level scene in question directly--that will work.  Thanks for playing!

No need for a save system but a level selection panel would be nice and would not be that much of a work but I understand so it is fine. Good work!

Developer

Thank you so much! It means a lot, especially knowing you got that far (and thought there were a lot of levels -- I didn't think there were enough).
Ideally, we would have had a level select screen that tracked how many turns you made, so you could replay each level and try to get a lower score. Unfortunately, we ran out of time. We'll let you know if anything like that gets implemented.
Thanks again!

While a bit rough around the edges, its a very strong concept with a really cool approach to game design and the theme.

Enjoyed messing around with the number shapes a lot, was fun to try and navigate different lines.

Thank you!  Yeah, there were definitely some things I wanted to add but time said nope :), like having the fish leave more elegantly (though the way they do it now struck us as funny), and some more graphical details like seaweed in the water and such.

Glad you enjoyed it, we definitely saw the potential for multiple solutions or even those that we didn't think of as the leves get harder.

Very good concept. Great job!

Thank you!

Super creative concept. The kind of puzzler that might seem simple at first, but soon has you really needing to think.

Developer

Thanks!  https://yousayrandy.itch.io/ did the designing.  That was, indeed, something that we realized.  Even designing them is trickier than it seems at first glance.  Glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you so much! It means a lot.
While that was the intention (so I'm glad to hear you say that), I underestimate how much of a challenge it was going to be. I spent most of my time staring at a dry erase board with 0-9 digital numbers written on it. I'm glad it paid off!

Really cool, I like your interpretation of the theme!

Developer

Thanks much!

You can thank my two-year-old son who was watching Finding Nemo on loop when the theme was announced, and the Christmas episode of Futurama for allowing me to steal the gag where Fry falls through the clock to try and save the bird.
Thank you for playing!
