great game! I like the art  and  the way the player moves smoothly , simple straightforward controls, I keep getting whacked on the pink stuff,  its a good thing that this has unlimited lives... it was a really immersive gaming experience, overall I enjoyed playing this! congratulations ! keep it up!

We thought having good player movement would be key since it's a difficult platformer. Happy to hear you liked the game and found the player controllable. There are some "evil" hurt boxes for sure 🙈(which needs refining).

I really loved it! It was really challenging to get to the credits screen, but well worth the effort. I really like the art style for the game. The only thing that felt a bit weird was that the player doesn't have a walking or jumping animation.

😃 Thanks for your kind words and the feedback. This is our first jam and the first game ever created so really appreciate it.

Totally agree walk/jump animations are missing (and SFX). Not an excuse but we ran out of time to add the final touches.

I liked it, I would love a checkpoint from time to time but maybe it was designed to be  hard

Glad you liked it and thanks for the feedback. This is our first jam and the first game ever created so really appreciate the feedback.

It is designed to be hard but probably it would've been better to create more short levels. Specially the mushroom level is long and can be frustrating if you die towards the end. We did make last minute changes to the mushroom level to make it much easier compared to what it was initially designed but probably it would've been better to split the level to add a checkpoint in the middle instead.
