I liked the idea of a tower defence game where you're able to move around on the map. Reminds me a bit of Sanctumin that respect. I think it's a bit punishing currently, as it's not easy to know how well stocked your towers are or whether they're online. Perhaps there are audio cues to let you know (which failed for me) but a mini-map, with the tower statuses on them would be really useful, to let you know where to drive next. I also thought having the same key for repair and reload was fiddly, as I found myself repairing the main cannon before reloading so I didn't accidentally spend the scrap. I would have also have liked a small gun on the car to do some manual enemy management, but I imagine that was a feature that you didn't have time to implement. A solid submission, with very nice graphics, great job!

My laptop doesn't have an F8 key, so I never figured out the controls beyond WASD.  :-(  Could you add something to the game page describing the controls a bit?

Developer

Good idea. I have updated the page with the information that is displayed when hitting F8.

Once I played the tutorial, I was able to get the hang of it.  Very rewarding final sequence with the giant cannon.  Sorry about the sound, but I still thought it was a neat game!

The tutorial was a late (rushed) additions, but is probably the only things that made the game playable by anyone other than those of us that worked on it. LOL
