Theme interpretation
I love spaceships and difficult games/roguelikes, so I didn't try to find a original interpretation to the theme. Rather, I went for a classic top down bullet hell space shooter. Have fun !

Cool! I like this idea. Frankly speaking, I also wanted to do something similar, but in the end I hit the side of the lunar lander. The only thing I would like is to be able to have an auto mode for firing a gun, and not just single fire and full-screen mode.

Good job! I liked the game. My only feedback is that the controls were not super intuitive. I would've preferred to use Q and E to rotate, but it seemed like it gave priority to the cursor position, so that wasn't really an option. Also, I'm not sure if I was doing something wrong, but I wasn't able to use F to pick up items.

thanks for the feedback! I ran out of time so I wasn't able to provide a proper tutorial :D

You can pick up items when you have at least 50 scrap (top left of screen). Then when you are close enough to a capsule, press F and it should do the trick

Partical animation and Rust programming. Already loving it
