Theme interpretation
I took the theme literally, so in my game you shoot moons.

I really wish there was a button that restarted a level after a game over. Having to sit through the tutorial explanation each time isn't very fun.

I also wish there was more visual feedback. Like, planets seemingly disappear when I destroy their moons, but that's not because I destroyed the planet. It would be nice if there was an explosion effect on the moon so I know when I succeeded.

The writing was very funny though!

From what i know, it is not possible to replay the game with this code, you have to reopen the game. I wanted to make it so that there is an explosion when you shoot a moon, but python just wouldn't wanna play the animation and it was just a still frame of an explosion so i gave up on that. I also wanted to add spaceships that colonise the planets when you break the moons, but i thought of it a day or two before the end of the jam so i didn't have time.

Attempted the game about 8 times but I couldnt seem to get too much of a hang of it. I killed like 6 moons one playthrough though which was fun.

The alien dude is awesome hes so funny but I wish I could have been able to skip the tutorial after restarting.

Also really impressed you made this game in python thats pretty rare. I also did my game in a weird way I used java instead though

Yeah i tried to get to have the tutorial skippable but it wouldn't work, you have to get to 50 score to get to the ending though.
