  • Absolutely great look and feel. down to menus, cutscenes and dialogue. Didn't see the twist coming either!

I wanted to do a retro effect on screen like you accomplished for my retro style platformer.  That effect was really well done.  All of the imagery worked perfectly together.

Hey! Glad you liked it, thanks for the feedback.

It was all made in Unity using PSFX paid asset by Tyler Mitchell along with a low resolution and some camera filters.

waited through too much text, walked too far, got stunlocked by monsters that didnt seem to care about bullets.

suggestion - move the camera target up a bit so its easier to see while running around.

The idea was to make an atmospheric game, but I overestimated the time needed, so I decided to buff the enemies and use them only to finish the game.

( I lost a whole afternoon just to make the cutscene at the beginning lol )

Thx for playing !

you did great with the look and feel, it really said I'm a ps2 game. There's a jam called scream jam you should look into when it runs next.

So.. I like the game. I had only a few things.. one skip intro and dialog. two make bad guy tree things NOT invincible. I got one stuck under the porch at the front door. Unloaded all my bullets and it didn't do anything to them. LOL. I was stuck after that. Navpoints. But, really loved the atmospherics, loved the old playstation vibe, and like the in depthness of the story! Great job!

I thought I could do twice as much as I did, in the end the enemies were only used to deliver the end screen lol, anyway, thanks for playing, :)
