Welcome to the first ever Game Creator Jam marathon!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW.

Who can enter? Anyone, of any age, from anywhere. You can work alone or in teams!

When does the jam begin? The jam starts at May 6th, at 12PM Berlin time. And it ends at May 16th, at 11AM Berlin time.

What is the theme? The theme will be announced a few minutes before the game jam starts.

What tools should I use? The game must use Game Creator 1 or Game Creator 2. Custom scripts and packages are allowed, as long as the bulk of the game uses Game Creator. 

• Please, no NSFW, extremely violent or gore games.
• Multiplayer games are discouraged, because judging them would require the judges to synchronize their time-zones.
• Games that are not free will be disqualified.

What platforms should I build my game for? Your game should at least run on a Windows computer or WebGL. However, feel free to also build it for MacOS, Linux or any other platform you prefer.

Who and how will judge the games? Games will be judged by Kevin (RVR), Chris (Vexstorm) and Marti (Catsoft Works), against the following criteria: theme, creativity, presentation and fun.

Is there a Discord I can join? Yes! You can join the official Game Creator Discord server, where we have a game jam channel abilitated.

What about prizes? The first, second and third place winners will be allowed to choose a free official module for either Game Creator 1 or Game Creator 2. Including the upcoming Dialogue 2 module!

- Anything you make during the Game Creator Jam is your property.  Catsoft Works claims no rights or ownership of your game. 
- Any game submitted to the Game Creator Jam may show up in a Catsoft Works, RVR or Vexstorm YouTube video or livestream, without your express permission.
