How does your game fit the theme?
The game revolves around monkey scientist breaking the timeline with a time machine. The whole game is different periods of time throughout history.

Did you use any assets?
I used a player puppet I had made, the rest of the game was built on top of said puppet project. No level designs were made before the jam, nor was the game concept.

I really like this game and the artstlye, but it's sadly quite buggy.
Graphic glitches occurred quite frequently. Maybe because you went over the tile limit?
And the shooting often appears at the top of the screen weirdly.

Hope you get it fixed, if you continue working on it after the Game Jam voting period. :)

Yeah, it's like a hive in there now that I'm looking at it with a different lens. Little inconsistencies didn't help, there were some scenes that weren't uniform. The graphical glitches tho, I'm not sure where they stem from. I'm well under the tile count in every scene. I'm hoping they clear up as I keep cleaning the code and adding the missing parts, the ones in the Dino level especially baffle me. GBS can be weird sometimes.

Fixing it is a priority, I can't let what could be a good game stay broken.

I saw a detailed comment on the game page by GumpyFunction that I agree with so I'll keep it short here. The gameplay is a a little too hard, but the game is promising. I like the sprites a lot - funky stuff. Also the backgrounds, but they do need more polishing for readability.

I really like the graphics of the game with the robot and it looks like a promising platform game. On the other hand totally unplayable on the original hardware with the slowdowns from the first enemy on the screen. So I did it on the browser, but some bugs too, especially on the life level, I sometimes started the level again after losing with only half of the hearts, and I got stuck in the level with the Egyptian eye, or an enemy didn't let me jump :( . I hope it will be a great game in the future, but it still needs some work :D .

I love the art/artstyle of your game!

GumpyFunction's comment on the game's main page pretty much says it all - the game looks super charming and is super fun when it isn't bugging out. The 7 day deadline is tight and this is super ambitious, so bugs or no bugs, I think it's impressive!
I couldn't complete any levels due to the glitches, but my favorite was the Egyptian level (the jump platforms were really fun). Art-wise, I really liked the scene in the beginning, but I think the enemies that were top hats in the top hat level take the cake for me.

I had fun with it so far and would love to play an updated version! Nice job guys :)

The art and characters look fun, and I like their language free dialog, but I was having trouble with the colliders and was not really able to make it past the first obstacle two in most levels.

I wish there was a way to give up a level and choose a different one

The game looks really awesome, but is now buggy as hell :D hope you try to fix some of the bugs, i would love to play the game :)

I do plan on doing updates 100%, personally I'm not even happy with it. Deadlines are deadlines, but I'm far from done here :)
