I liked what I saw overall! Unfortunately, it ran very poorly on the laptop I play most game-jam games on.  I somehow made it to the end though and even got a decent score, based on the comment I saw below.

I wish it ran better for me, but seems like solid work. Keep it up!

Thanks for giving it a play!

I liked the simplicity of this game, it was the only game in this Game Jam that I was able to finish to the end. I got a score of 2,650. I did not encounter any bugs.

The player spaceship model is really good and I especially like the fire and smoke coming from the back of the ship.

Controls were easy to figure out and I liked how you could play the game with either keyboard or mouse.

As with all Game Jam games, there are lots of areas for improvement, but the areas that could use the most work are:

- Bullets. They were really hard to see, so they need to be a different color to properly stand out from the starfield background. This is a problem in a lot of top-down space shooters.

- Power-ups. I could see and collect the power-ups floating through space, but I had no idea what any of them did.

- Player hit detection. I intentionally crashed into enemy ships and never died. If you're targeting a more casual audience then I think this might be an attractive feature, but the average and hardcore gamers would want the player to be able to die to give more of a challenge.

Thanks! Yes, I didn't complete any form of 'death' in the 48 hours on the game. You simply lose points whenever you 'die'

One of the power ups causes the ship to change models and fire 4 guns instead of 2, the other is just points.

Thank you so much for giving it a play! I appreciate it :)
