Every year during my winter break I try to make a game. Here is the first game that I have ever actually finished.

Thanks everyone for help with the missing dynamic library. I've updated the windows installer to version 1.0.1. The missing library is now included in the installation.

Hmm ok I probably didn't notice the missing dependency because it's installed on my machine. Seems like I just need to statically link libwinpthread-1.dll. So I'm going to release an update soon.

This game wonky controls and roundabout level design really shows the painful life of a depressed moth.

I really like that the level design organically shows how repeated failures can be very painful.

Criticism: The level select always reset at the first day, making it at the last would be better, I think.

Anyway,  someone please give sad moth a hug :(

For anyone trying to run this on windows, and getting the "code execution cannot proceed because libwinpthread-1.dll was not found" error, I was able to get it working by:

  1. Running the installer ("AfterMath_Win64_1.0.0.exe").
  2. Downloading the missing dependency "libwinpthread-1.dll" from dll-files.com.
  3. Unzipping the dll and moving it into the game's install directory ("C:\Program Files (x86)\AfterMath").
  4. And then running the game.

It seems like the installer doesn't include it for whatever reason. Anyways, I enjoyed it! Hope others can too. Here's my playthrough:

Hi,

Just a heads up, I cannot run your game as I received an error:

The code execution cannot proceed because libwinpthread-1.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.

I tried reinstalling and it still did not work.
