Thank you tecgothica for the response! You don't know how much that means to me. I just made version 0.1.4.1 avalible & it has a better tutorial to hopefully help the player understand that you have to run into the enemy. Thanks for that feedback :)

Also there are battle transitions now that will hopefully make the interactions more responsive as well. A simple square transition. Also you only have one hit before you die so should I still add a health bar?  As one hit I feel doesn't need a health bar, but that's my opinion and thanks for the feedback! Thanks!

This is interesting, would love to see it further along. I like the juxtoposition between the bright and colorful audio with how Zack is feeling. The combat took a little while to figure out, and also the lack of a health meter or bar is a little frustrating. You should mention that once yellow you need to run INTO the enemy before the bravery goes away. The interactions sometimes felt a little unresponsive but it is still early days so that is fair enough :)

Thank you so much for the feedback! You have no idea how much it means to me! Yes I think some more hints would be good. I also want to know, is the text visible enough? I wasn't quite sure as I'm colorblind. I'll work on those hints (like the locked door will read a hint to the keys location) thanks in advanced!

Impressive everything you put together in just a little over a week. Good variety of art to make the house feel like a house with different rooms. Felt like an Atari game with puzzles, I could never quite figure out the solution, I think I was probably most confused by the combat sequences. But I did like how the heart would change and take on different behaviors based on its color. My only suggestion might be a few more hints thrown in during gameplay.
