It seems that the bullets are able to collide with each other and vanish. I also caught right off the bat a situation where I was facing some direction but the bullets were still travelling to the other direction. I would also tweak the typography.
You have a good kernel for an Mega Man style game there - just need some more nurturing time.

That was nice and simple. You shoot bullets at enemies that can come from either side. Seems to get faster too, but there's no Game Over screen, it just sent me to the Main Menu.
