Jam Host

Hello! Welcome to Feedback Quest 6! My name's Hythrain, and I'm one of the hosts and streamers for this event! This feedback is being written live on my stream.

So this was an interesting idea, though admittedly I've seen other games like this. What differs from those other games is that this one starts with the player knowing who they're talking to is an "AI." Now that said, for being an "AI" it's rather limiting in the choices for what you can say and how it can respond. This is obviously a result of programming limitations and the fact that a real AI doesn't exist yet, but I would say there should be more options and paths in general. This first part has a very narrow focus, trying to steer the conversation in a specific way very quickly. I would rather there be more options and more dialogue, especially starting off, to get a sense of a progression you need to make. In a full game, this would also allow for many branching paths and endings, which is the main thing a game like this needs.

Other than that, a little background noise would go a long way.

Otherwise, I hope to see more of it!

Thanks for playing our game and thanks for the feedback! we plan to expand player's choice in the full game, especially with the hidden codes and what you'll be able to find

Phenomenal. I was immensely disappointed to reach the end of the demo because I was looking forward to continuing my exploration of this world. Absolutely going to be following the development of this game so I can play it in full one day. Until then, I'll just have to look for more codes in the demo. You've created the perfect storm of unsettling and intriguing that makes players want to learn more about this world, despite the fact they might not like the answer that awaits them.
