Really good effort from your end, considering its your first game. Your game has a very unique story and that background music is so good. I had a lot of difficulty playing the game because the mouse cursor was not enabled in the game. I died a lot in the first few minutes because I wasn't sure what to do. Somehow I was very happy when I reached the end of tunnel.  This game might not relate to the "Food" theme or the HCG genre but I would recommend you to work on this game as an indie. Keep updating it and I am sure it will become something awesome. Best of luck :)

Thank You so much for your such an insightful feedback :). I am working on UI and adding new game Mechanics as per feedback, and these problem will be solved in future update as I re-designed the whole level and it’s game assets.

*I’ll add an option there to choose the cursor show or hide in new UI implementation :)

First of all very nice game, at it gives me chills and i got little bit scare it remainds me of Insidious (horror movie) , there is problem when i try to the object which is on ground i died ,atlast after lot of trys i finally reach the end point , i see light there and i went there it the games ended , i really wanna explour the village scene it look amazing , AND i dont think so that your game fall in HCG category, i feel that there should also be a apk verson for mobile but its missing.

BTW great game....

Its a great game but controls need to be more smooth otherwise the overall gameplay is awesome.

Developer(+1)

Ohh, yes haha sorry for that! I am working on controls, I think if I had included Keyboard Controls. then it was an option to choose from. Thank you for your valuable Feedback :)

I think this was your very first game, in case kudos! Making a game itself is a big achievement and hats off to your for that.

Firstly, I do like the idea behind the game and the visuals were very nice and futuristic. Even the sound design matched the futuristic visuals. And loved the barrel-rolls!

But there are some critique/feedback that I do have of the game. Firstly the controls were confusing. I did not realize I had to use a mouse to control the jet. I think adding a small tutorial screen showing the controls would be beneficial. I also thought that the sensitivity of the mouse was a bit too much making it slightly difficult to control - and i tried playing with the keyboard but i found that to be a very very difficult experience - and since this is meant to be a hyper-casual - the controls should be simple and easy to understand.

Secondly, I felt like the jet was a bit slow so the pace of the game could be upped a little more.

Thirdly, from your lore i get where the food element is coming from, but I feel like the gameplay should be more based around food. Right now I'd classify this as a flying game rather than a food game [and the jam was about making a food game]. So, as important as it is to include the theme in your lore, also show it more in the gameplay itself.

But regardless, this was just feedback. I still believe that if you fine tune the game, it can become really really good. There's an android game called Race The Sun that had similar mechanics as your game, I'd recommend checking that out. Overall good job!

Yes it’s my First Yay!

I know all 3D artist part but I am kind of new to Dev part but as you took your time to give my game the most valuable Feedback I really appreciate that :)

Further more I get your advice, yes Controls should me optimized and Described as well as there’s a need for the game to have and Option Button to see the controls and also for aircraft’s overall speed, I originally planned to have a power boast forward but I had only 12 hours in which I only used 7 hours in Unity and other time just watching tutorials for UI.

The Food Theme, Yes yes I know I’m doomed on that haha. Well I still think it’s very impressive for to do that much ( I know only 3D Art part but this Game Jam Helped me to evolved a lot and also made me learn Game Dev as well, salute to Epiphany efforts ;D )

Look hey, from a person learning how to be a dev, trust me this was an amazing first attempt so you should be proud of it especially since this was just 7 hours! But glad this game jam helped you find the dev in you!
