There’s a certain feeling that ferries have, even when they are bright and full, of quiet (yet noisy) places, of movement, of impermanence, of being trapped, of strangers going places. I saw a lot of that feeling here.

My only complaint was that it was too short.

I've taken many ferry trips over the years, including an overnight ferry from Maine to Nova Scotia. This was an inspired setting for an Ectocomp entry. Spooky and atmospheric.
