Solid gameplay! I just couldn't exactly figure out the progression, and the combat system was a little buggy.
But for a jam game, well done!

The player/slime art is nice enough, and I see what you were going for, but this is unfortunately quite lacking in execution. I don't take much issue with the relatively simple gameplay, although the jump controls and attack hitboxes could have been tweaked slightly like others have said. But I think if you were leaning into atmosphere like it seems you were, more balanced art execution would have been appreciated. It's hard to feel immersed when you're on a plain blue background with floating green platforms in complete silence. I'm sure some of it is time-based, which will improve as you continue making games for jams, but this is not a bad start by any means. I would have also liked a little more guidance as to what the goal was because I was pretty lost at first. Even if you don't have time to put it in the game, more of a description on the game page would be helpful.
I think you should try experimenting with how your movement feels and plays. You probably want to have something that's a lot more snappier and responsive, and less floaty. The main character sprite is pretty cool, but it could be animated a bit smoother. I would also like to see a lot more levels too of course. This is a pretty decent start though, good luck!
I like the character sprite for sure. I do have to admit that the jump feels like we are in the low gravity environment. Maybe that's the setting lol I am not sure. But cool stuff!!
Cool main character sprite, movement is a bit strange, and I would reccomend evenly distributing the time you spend on each piece of art, so that you don't end up with a bad looking ground and a great looking main character, and instead end up with two good looking sprites.
Graphics arent great, no sound and only 2 very easy levels, the last one just sends you back to itself. Movement is too slow and jumps are too floaty.
Still, this game does have an inovation that i have not seen in a lot of games at all. The slime AI has them make jumps on other platforms, and they arent even hardcoded, they jump on the exact curve needed to reach the other platform, that is very impresive and cool, how did you do it? Do you have nodes conecting the ends of platforms that tell the slimes where to jump? Then you just calcualte the force needed to land there? Very cool :3
