Six years ago the dream of actually making a game was more realistic: a few weeks in summer were spent following game dev tutorials. All was confusing but whenever a result was playable the excitement was immense! An idea about a sugar lump that could use it's environment to traverse a world full of creatures and deadly environments came to life. Lots of scribbling, doodling, thinking happened during those years. Not much coding was done however. The stories of making your dream game first and failing hard, were all over the internet. I didn't want this to happen to me. So I waited slowly building few skills in pixel art, Godot and video editing to hopefully one day share devlogs with the world. Many failures, many small or big steps. Many miscalculations.
Devtober hits, and I finally take the chance to make a start with: Sugar Lump.

A few mechanics are present, the character is finally in a stage that I am happy with, and a playable version is available. I then got COVID and could only submit what was there already.

Oh man, I hope you'll recover swiftly :o
Also, waw, the game is very cute! Keep it up.

Eh, that's noise. They are probably talked about situations where financial success was required. Making money from games is really hard, but having fun and exploring your creative capabilities and needs, gaining experience is really easy, so just relax and have fun.
