This is really neat stuff. well implemented, love the music, and I found the overall experience quite intuitive. Well done! :D
It's a very fun concept! Though I will say it's kind of hard for me to memorize that much, but it creates a fun sense of tension once you get to the part where you don't remember where you should go next, it does remind me of minesweeper in a way (except that I don't know how to play minesweeper). At first when I got to that one room where you were first supposed to wrap around the screen I honestly thought "wait what the hell do i do now" but then I realized (and it was kind of obvious) that the only possible thing was to wrap around the screen like that! So I think that introduction of screen wrapping was a cool nice bit of game design. Nice job!
Thanks for playing! I realize the game can be quite had, especially with how fast it ramps up, and am thinking of ways to make it easier, at the moment the gold nuggets make a sound when you pick them up so you can use them as markers to where you are, but im considering also making the visible in the same way the gems are.
glad you enjoyed your time with it :D
Great game!, although I didn't understand what it has to do with the theme, maybe it's very abstract, but very fun
Wow this is a wild puzzle game! Great concept, I got stuck the moment wrapping around the screen became a requirement to add to things to memorize, but love the puzzle design! Music is sick too!
Yep it was clear that was the solution, when every other direction lead to death but my memory ain't good enough to keep track of everything relative to the other side of the screen and new positions etc. I think if that had been added in an easier level it might have been a smoother start to it. But don't get me wrong, props for making an awesome game! Definitely in my top 3 this jam!
