The lasers are safe, and for party purposes only! I initially had them shooting towards the bottom of the screen, but it totally made it look like a laser death ball.
Glad you were able to add on almost exactly what you talked about on Tuesday. The events that happen when you're halfway/almost done give a good indication of progression, this type of thing could probably be expanded upon.
yeah, disco ball ftw. with the player movement was a little faster/smoother, but it adds challenge. Perhaps the player could "earn" the disco ball/effects by increasing score? seems linked to time right now.
That actually is how the disco ball works, it appears when your score is half full and starts shooting lasers when it's 3/4 full. Adding additional challenge to increasing score might help make that a bit more clear.
An awesome attempt at combining a rhythm game with a shmup. The music is really compelling and I found myself shooting to the beat even though it was a disadvantage.

Every game is better with a disco ball, unsure if the lasers killed me I was too scared to touch them

Still cracking up about the disco ball. You got my head bobbing and everything. Nicely done.
