Nice concept, but the physics was kinda flawed. With 0 air control, it's just aim and pray. And the fact that the player is sliding around like everything was covered with ice doesn't help either. But yes, the biggest issue is the lack of checkpoints. Reaching the 3rd torch, then falling back to the bottom worked for Getting Over It, because there at least you can partially block your fall, and physic is a lot friendlier, allowing huge jumps if you get the hang of it. Here, not that much.
And the charging of the fireball wasn't useful either. I'm not sure if any of the gaps would have been easier to overcome with a half charged fireball for example.
Anyway, nice start, with a few more refinements it could be a pretty decent game.
Thank you so much for playing and for giving this feedback. This game was supposed to be a full rage game like Jump King, where you slowly get the hang of it but at any time you could fall. Most of my decisions of design was to reforce that idea of "Rage Game", the 0 air control, initially i had it, but then removed it entirely, the sliding was also intentional so it would even more "ragey". I totally get your critcism and maybe I leaned to much on the rage side of things, I'm pretending to improve this game anyway and your comment will be a nice starting point.

Damn this game is hard! Reminds me of jump king, I am not sure if having limited time is a good mechanic here but the gameplay is very rewarding when you get it right.
It was one of my biggest inspirations for this game, it was jump king and rocket jump in TF2, I wanted to mix those two gameplay elements and see what I could make. I'm thinking about changing the timer as well, maybe the timer goes up or something like that, more friendly I guess.
Oh well! I tried but couldn't even reach the 3rd Fire torch. Loved the mechanics but Foddian games usually dont go well with a timer. some checkpoints would have been nice though.
Probably my biggest regret with this game is the timer, I'm thinking changing the way it works on a future update. Probably adressing checkpoint issues later as well, or at least make it a little more forgivable. Thank you for the feedback!
