I wish I could have finished this! I tried a few more times and never could delever Kevin's letter to Jessica! SO SAD!!!!!!!!!!!!! She will never know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a cool idea! Good job and thanks for participating in the jam!
I finished the game, I would say it was pretty good. It had a few bugs here and there and there were too many things on the screen at some point (when the ships that followed you appeared), but nothing game breaking. Nice work.
Thanks for the tip! I did have a plan to make the destroyed asteroids move away on the z-axis in both directions (so that there was no way the ship could collide with them, and to add depth)) I had one attempt around 2 hours before deadline and something went wrong so I left it and moved on to finishing the rest :( I know it's no excuse, but I over-scoped a fair bit on this and the gameplay was sadly compromised. Thanks again for your feedback!
Seemed like it was going to be a fun time after loading up and getting into the rocket. Unfortunately, I couldn't play this game and experience all the content.
Doesn't seem like you clamped the turning speed to the game's update time. I have a pretty good frame rate and tapping left or tight will make me do 90-180 degree turns.
Also like Michael said I didn't realize I need to tap thrust until I read his post. Maybe the thruster sound should have been an indicator to me because it wasn't continuing while I was holding W or S. I just thought that was a bug though. The thing is it's not easy to tell if you're moving because of the background image. Sure the asteroids help but are they moving or am I??? both???
Lastly, when I got trapped in space I just started spamming click and all these explosions would happen like 30 seconds later. We're these the asteroids? a planet? who knows cause I couldn't see them.
Took me a second to realize you needed to tap the thrusters instead of hold it. Originally I was holding it and wasn't really moving at all. Either way good stuff. It was pretty hard to avoid the asteroids properly and the spike balls moved so quickly you kind of had to guess and hope for the best. I really like the comment at the end though about running out of time to progam haha.
First scene is really aggressive for the eyes with its colors. Then I was travelling for a few minutes and I wasn't arriving anywhere. Where am I supposed to go? (I'm following the blue line)
Thanks for the feedback about the first scene. If you follow the blue line, through the asteroid field, after about 2 minutes you'll get to planet Timothy.

Ok good to hear you finished the game!! Thanks loads for playing and for the feedback.
I want to play all the game but i can't move beacuse the rocks block me...
Ok, sorry about that. You're supposed to navigate around the blocks to the next planet.
Maybe an idea is to remove the colliders or the weight of the destroyed asteroids to make it more satisfactory to move around the space.

Okay I'll give it another shot.
