Two things entered my mind right away
- the saw tones took me right back to original late-DOS Master of Magic similar instrument-sets for that game in 1994-5 by Microprose/Simtex on the cusp of Windows 95 temporarily ruining everything for a time.
- the interplay of two synth melodies took me to the similar approach of the synth buildup in Real Genius (1986) when they were sneaking onto the Air Force Base and setting up the popcorn at Jerry's house. (Toward the end of the film)
Good grasp of dynamics as to how it got louder starting in the middle.

I honestly had no idea what to expect based on the combination of your title, description, and cover image, and then I listened and the title and description made sense! The start with the deep tubular sounding synth is reminiscent of a sewer for me. Then the build to the upbeat percussion-driven section felt much more “beachy”. This is a really catchy vamp and the production was well done. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for the kind words. The title and description of the piece came to me naturally — they emerged from the depths of my subconscious. I saw a rat in a straw hat and a Hawaiian shirt, carrying a huge suitcase and heading off on vacation :-) The vision really made me laugh.
