Hi! I'm Lucas and I've been programming games as a hobby for about 5 years and professionally for almost 3... I speak Spanish, English and Italian and I am looking for a team!
(I copied this post template from this post)

1. What can I do?
Programming is my forte, I prefer to use Godot for my projects, but at work I use Unity.

2. What would I like to focus on?
There's literally nothing that I don't like to program, I enjoy creating the tools and systems that enable others to create their ideas

3. What can't I do?
I have tried my hand at everything else in game development, but either it takes me too long or I can't achieve my vision, so I mainly stick to programming and leave other tasks to the pros

4. What don't I care about - i.e. other people can have "full reign" over?
Game design, Sound design,  Art, UI-UX

5. What is my time commitment to this project?
Between 2 to 6 hs a day 5 days a week

6. What kind of games do I like? What genres or game types do I enjoy playing or working on, or would like to try making?
I like games that are simple and polished, I enjoy retro games for that same reason! I would really like to make a 1993 DOOM clone or a simple mission based RTS game. But since I don't have experience with design I don't mind making anything else,  2D or 3D

Hey! I want to throw myself in the ring for a collaboration, since your post checked a lot of boxes in my head. I'm quite new to programming and enjoyed my time with Godot the better part of a year, but I'm interested in making art and music for at least 20 years. Since I've not done anything in 3D yet in Godot or Blender, I would prefer doing some 2D stuff and really like strategy oder building games as a genre.

It would be great to get some experience in working as a team. I think tossing around ideas and coordinate each other is an interesting part of the creative field and I'm ready to learn a lot :D

Hiya, I'm Jackie, and I've been doing 3D for 7, almost 8, years now, and have been doing it professionally for 3 years, most of it being for characters.

I speak English, Afrikaans (the lesser known sister language of Dutch), and I'm currently trying to learn Italian.

1. What can I do?

I am a bit of a Jack of all trades when it comes to 3D: I have experience with modelling, texturing,  rigging, and am currently trying to learn animation. I am familiar with Unity and Godot, and I can do some shaders if I'm able to use a shading graph, or an equivalent.

2. What would I like to focus on?

I haven't been able to do many environment/prop models in recent years, and I'd really like to get back into those areas of 3D.

3. What can't I do?

I cannot do programming. I can understand a little of it, but I can't write or understand anything that would actually be useful.

4. What don't I care about - i.e. other people can have "full reign" over?

Sound design.

5. What do I care about but cannot meaningfully contribute to - i.e. discussing these elements and suggesting changes?

UI

6. What is my time commitment to this project?

I can spend between 1 - 4 hours a day, 7 days a week, on assets. I can usually make very simple assets within an hour or so.

7. What kind of games do I like? What genres or game types do I enjoy playing or working on, or would like to try making?

I would love to make a 3D platformer game! Something like super mario galaxy, odyssey, and a hat in time! I generally like any 3D game that has good gameplay and a story that can hook me! I often like to play games in first person perspective, like minecraft and subnautica.

Hi! Any 3d modeling will really help! If you are still looking for a team my discord user is: tanoolucas

Oki doki! I will get in contact in a little while!

If you need additional art, I can do 2D character concept art and illustration if you still need help with that, and I would like to get better at environments too, should the opportunity present itself, but it's not my forte. I also have a graphic design background so I can help with UI elements (at least the visuals). My life should be getting slightly less hectic in April, so I expect to be able to dedicate a couple hours a day to the project.

Update: I forgot to mention I personally like RPGs, especially JRPGs, but I enjoy a lot of other genres as well and I'd be up for working in any of them.
