Only one development target is the score Ui, overall very nice game

Developer

We will be upgrading and still be working upon the game design and that will be the next focus for the game, as due to time constraints, we weren't able to prepare it on time! Appreciate the comment!

Love the graphics! It was just a bit hard to control precisely when moving up or down. But great job overall!

Developer

Thank you for the comment! Had some issues to keep the controls to be extremely precise, but the main idea will be to convert the game into mobile version, to use the touch screen to have a better grasp of the player control!

I think I played this game more than I needed to, haha. It was fun and I love the graphics. It was cool to find the balance between collecting the speed but not having the time to dodge as easily. I think you could increase that by adding a small score to each lightning bolt. Overall, good job!

Developer

Thank you so much and it was quite some good feedback! Might think about adding it into the game.

And here I am, I a genius, trying to play a shark and thinking why it is not working. ANd then I get it and it was fun. Challenging and great graphics. The only thing I would do is gradually apply movement since it feels too instant.

Thank you so much and it was quite challenging for the art, but my friend managed to get everything in perfect sinc

That shark is so ominous following you at the start, if you are lucky enough to get a few speed boosts.

The music fits perfectly although does get a bit repetitive.

Overall its a great little game, I love the style of it and it was fun to play.

Developer

Thank you!! really appreciate it!

the game is good, but it's a bit generic, although the game is on the right track

Oh man, the thumbnail made me very excited for this and it did not disappoint. The graphics are great and a good fit. The theme is inherently spooky, too. Irrational fear of sharks in games is something I picked up from the original Tomb Raider and Banjo-Kazooie games.

Were logs supposed to deal damage to you, too? It seemed you could get damaged only by bombs and life rings (?). And really, once you got a few speed ups, the shark seemed irrelevant. I was really playing against the obstacles. I got just over 700 points before I realized the shark was never coming back and I lost to obstacles instead of being eaten. For a game about running from a shark, I think it could stand to benefit from more shark. Maybe it gets faster or never can be more X units away?

Overall, cool game. I enjoyed my time with it. Well done!

Happy to hear that and we will try to improve on the game by turning it into a mobile game.

Logs did not give any extra damage to the player to avoid excessive consequences, as, for each hit, it will make the player get stunned. Damage would make it worse.

Regarding the shark, if you survive long enough, you might see he is not that slow ahahah

So you're saying I got a low score? :P

Considering the amount of minutes you played the game, no, but overall, a tiny bit ahaha
Just keep grinding!
