How does the game fit into the theme?
In this game you literally have to keep moving forward - if you stand still for more than a few seconds you die (plus you're also being chased). I know it's a bit of a literal take on the theme but I've never made a game before so I wanted to go nice and simple.
What premade assets did you use if any?
Oak Woods - Brullov
LPC walls
Pixel art flower pack -Karsiori
Abandoned city assets - G.lerf

Street houses - Dallie Mond
Hospital - Dai420
plus a couple other small ones that I can't remember where I got them from

It's not a bad idea, but this dude walks through walls, it's not fair)
I have to wait for him to get around
Nice theme, enjoyed the story at the start but needs a bit of polish. Player movement made the player blurry. You have to ghost chasing so why do you lose when you stand still? Also needs some check point system.
It was a REALLY difficult game but it felt so satisfying to complete! It felt like back when there were no guides to games so you had to figure out through trial and error. I do agree with everyone saying the loading was too long but it sounds like the dev was unable to find a clear solution to that, it gave me time to sit and think about my next strategy. Without giving too much away (I'm not sure how Voidheart feels about some spoilers/hints) There is a crouch button with "S" or "C". It can helpful for hiding/fitting into small spaces. Best of luck to all of you brave enough to beat this challenging game!
Edit: This is very impressive for your first game!
Bug note: The Player can move the cars but running into it and spamming crouch btw!
Happy Jamming!
:)
Neat game, I like the theme interpretation and overall style. It could use some better indication on what is/isn't a platform, figuring it out was painful due to the delay in restarting.
Thanks! And I certainly appreciate the feedback
