Not sure what happened, but I poisoned the king a few times haha!

I'm not sure I understand how the poisoning mechanic works. Does it have anything to do with what looks like to be a particle emitter? At any rate, I was able to fumble my way through and successfully poison the king, which he was oddly happy about lol. Kudos for finishing and submitting a project on time, doubly so for making everything during the span of the jam!

There is a hidden complexity to this game.

You have to get the right balance to pass the "taste" test and keep your head.

I also think the thumbs up/down animations should become a meme.  While the art style won't win an art competition, it's consistent and easy to tell what you're doing.  Getting the verdict after choosing the meal is the best bit.

Cool idea for a game, I like all the animations, they're very charming!
