Hi there! I like a lot of things about your game, especially how you incorporated the theme of "curfew" by requiring the player to return home by nightfall. I need your help, though, to beat it. As I understand it, every building gives out the same clue until I go to the one being referred to. For example, I get the clue about the tallest building in town until I go to the tallest building in town where I get a new clue. But when I get the clue about the river, what am I supposed to do? Confused. And is it random that sometimes there is a middle-aged ne'erdowell and sometimes an elderly one?
Hi, thank You for your mostly possitive review. Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to make a tutorial, I'm sorry, that you have to cope with the game without any clue what to do there. But it sounds like You're doing well. Anwering your questions the river is on the right side of the map (out of bonds), I guess the blue texture isn't enough for it to be seen as a river and yes, the stats are every game randomized.
I think it's a OK game, everything works but needs improvement.
I think controls and character handling was the most frustrating; the walk feels so slow, even more if we consider there is limited time and having two different controls to interact feels odd.
And I didn't know what to do until the very end of the game, it's pretty nice.
Also I think there's a bug when day passes and you don't go back to your home, the screen fades black and gets stuck.
