Does Unity hate older Macosx?

I wanted to use the new version of Unity for this jam, but it ended up costing me so much time!

I have an older MacPro with a "PowerPC" system. This means i can't update to the newest OS.
So obviously the latest Unity version does not work at all. So I went for the 2018 version, it works, but not Visual studio. No matter what I tried Visual Studio with unity just does not work! I tried everything! Old versions, all the add-on's versions (for unity/ c#, ... support) but nothing worked... Stupid Visual Studio.

I ended up using MonoDevelop (what i like more anyway). But still Unity Crashed so many times! I made me nuts! But in the end i got a game out and it works. But damn...

I did not have much time (+-1 day) at all also being Solo and for the jam you had to make everything your self so...
