Why are the jam rules so specific?

Hi!

What's the motivation behind including the existing rooms/locations, ending the game in the treasure room and the number of puzzles? Why are the rules so specific?

Will the entries be compiled into one super game?

Cheers

As it's pre-jam, I relaxed the rules a little, as they were perhaps STILL a little too specific (they had been relaxed one time prior too).

There is still a requirement to have the locations of the original , but they can be shifted around if you REALLY want to.

The idea behind the rules are there so there is a general feeling of familiarity / kinship between the game entries.

There is definitely no plan to compile the entries into a super game, but a future jam will definitely explore that concept, in a similar fashion to Cragne Manor (with a twist).

Excellent! Thanks. I feel like I can make a bigger impression on the story now :)
