Definitely creepy. The diary thing was great, but it took longer than I would care to admit to think to click and drag the pages.

The option to continue down the trail leading to an infinite loop was frustrating. It felt a lot like older (and sadly also more modern) Nintendo games offering the player 2 dialog options but refusing to continue until you choose the “right” one.

Decently written, but has issue blending it's own mechanics with it's assets, and needed an editing pass.

Cool to learn that a group of raccoons is called a Gaze though!

I was really impressed by the page-turning thing. So often you have these logs that are typed up and in a menu. This felt like I was actually looking at a diary and handling it. It was cool, and a good premise! The ending even spooked me a little. Also, the ambient noise was very good; creepy and unobtrusive. Good job!

Yes, I’ve read the “I work for the search and rescue service at a national park and I have some stories to tell” creepypasta collection. I do like the premise of this game. There are some grammatical errors and spelling mistakes, as well as a few odd word choices here and there (what is a gaze of raccoons?), but overall the writing is solid. I like VNs and short stories. I do agree with the others that the false choice snubs the player a bit. Let the player have their desired ending. If they’re curious enough, they’ll go back and play it again and find out what really happens. I actually like the minimal sound design. I kept expecting something more, but it didn’t happen, which left me on edge. I liked that. I will note it took me a hot minute to realize I had to click and drag the page rather than just click it.

Game proposes false choices. Pretty linear experience. More of a creepy-pasta. Really liked the page physics though. Could use more sound.

Good Game! At one point I choose not to go up the stairs, but it wouldn't let me. Either it's a bug or a fake choice. Apart from that I belive the game was good and quite an interesting difference to most other games. If you got more time to work on this game I would recommend adding more pictures / animations.

i mean its a visual novel, what is there to say, it needs some pictures and some visual stuff neds to be fixed, also forcing the caracter to go one route and not the other while making it look like a choice is not cool. anyways very well done!

Very nice interactive novel! The only thing I can say is that it would have been even nicer with some more graphics showing the scenes, like a visual novel would for example. Also some more sound effect would have made it more scary :)
