I liked this. I had an issue with the ascii videos where I couldn't make out more than 1-2 words per video. I wanted to know what was going on a lot and thought the ascii video idea was really cool, but the sound in those was so much lower than the rest of the game. I loved how the music was slowing building up instruments and layers throughout the levels. I thought it was a little awkward that touching walls in certain places caused you to die when I don't think the game expected you to. So the restart level prompt would come up, but it would crash the game. Like goodgamesgreg, I got a debug console error saying that the coroutine for the switch state didn't work, so I couldn't progress any further. Pretty cool. I'd like to finish it whenever you update it.

The sound design is really nice and I appreciated the super abstract cutscenes, though would've liked a tiny bit more clarity in the voice/symbolism. The aesthetic is really strong, but it edges a bit into "too artsy" and takes away from the visual interest of the animations. I was getting Unity errors in the switch level and couldn't progress (nice that you uploaded a dev build xD) so that's where I stopped. Had a good time up til then, tho! Nice job :)

Thank you for posting! I had very little time making the cutscenes so i agree that you can barely listen what its going on xD xD . Nevertheless happy you enjoyed  a little bit!
