Haha, this was quite delightful! Playing as the baddie was a nice twist, and I love the character name. At first I wasn't quite sure what the point of the W move was, as it didn't do any damage, but I realized that you use W to block the hero and then Q to attack it, which is a very clever attack sequence. I would recommend trying to communicate to the player how to use the attacks a bit better. I would love to see this expanded upon with more levels, attack types, and heroes to defeat. But for a jam game, great work!

At first I didn't realize I was the big blob, but once I figured it out, I had a great time. I wish there were more stages to expand upon the idea because it looks like you found an interesting concept.  Of course, we never get to put everything we want in game jams!

I like the idea. I think it needs more fleshing out. It's short. The E move is overpowered and didn't really require much skill to win. The game didn't really feel like a bullet hell (playing from the boss's perspective). I think a little more control over the bullets and/or the movement of the controllable character would fix that. I love the music and art and it's a unique and fresh take on the theme!

Thank you! Yeah we have boss-like movement, tuning the E ability, and improving the enemy’s AI on our to-do list. We didn’t get to do much playtesting during the jam, so it was one of the last changes to limit how accessible the E is (why it starts on cooldown). We left it in for the Jam submission as an easy win tool (there’s also an easy lose tool if you look for it ;) just as a demo. When I’m demonstrating the game, I like to try to win with just Q and W, and sometimes just Q.

Thanks for playing and leaving feedback! This is our first game jam, and it means a lot

Was a neat idea to play as the boss but would love to see a bit more expanded on the idea. Nice work. (Not worth $5,000.00 😂)
