Artist notes
Music submission for Broken Telephone Jam #6. Could only dedicate a day as I was very busy, so it's nothing special.
However, this helped me produce some music, and I've needed that push which this jam helped me do.
The soundtrack is designed to match the ethereal nature of the inspiration picture. The picture features a jolly wizard in a green tunic in a forest-like area with bubbles in the air. Hence why I used bubbly and enchanting sounds to convey the fantasy magical aspect. The wizard seems old yet playful, so the track is welcoming yet versatile and conveys a sense of longing to reflect his wisdom.

I viewed your itch page and it was very difficult to read the yellow/white text over the blue background. Just letting ya know. :)
Your song fits very well! The woodwinds, wood-blocks, delay, magical wind-chimes; it all plays well into the magical forest atmosphere. At first I was confused about the bubble-sounds, but after reading you talk about the bubbles in the image, I could only find it a funny and nice touch ;). It is well orchestrated, you seem like you know what you're doing for someone who "could only dedicate a day as I was very busy, so it's nothing special." Nice entry :D

Thank you. I was also considering Chrono Trigger-esque bubbles from Schala's Theme (highly recommended OST).
now this is smooth and relaxing. and that bubble sound at the beginning was such a delight. Reminded me of childhood bubble baths, but in the context of this jam, fits the image so well, i completely overlooked the fact that the image had bubbles in until i realized you included bubble. great example of the work bringing the image to life. Overall i get an underwater feeling reminiscent of sonic adventure.
Feels like this music is written more for the viewer that comes across this little magician in the forest, tavern, or wherever said character habitates.
