Cool choice of music, I liked the  a capella song a lot. I had a hard time playing though, I would get stuck on some of the colliders and it felt like if I failed once I would just have to wait for the ghost to catch me, I think I would have preferred a slightly more forgiving first few levels that let me retry before the ghost would catch me. Really struggled with the "pillar" levels that would trap me if I fell because then it really was a waiting game. I think you have some good potential here though if you just tweak how the levels are designed and maybe how fast the ghost moves or when it comes out. Good job!

I'm sorry, but I just couldn't get into this one. Sometimes the player would get caught on the podiums, making the already difficult jumps and timing much more difficult, and the soundtrack was a touch annoying because it looped at every death.

A time limit for each level is a good idea, but perhaps it would be better if it were hard coded rather than taking the appearance of a ghost or other spirit pursuing you. Would you be intrested in rating or playing my game? It would really help me out, but dont worry if you dont want to, its completely up to you :)

The idea is good, and the game is pretty fun to play. The controls could have used a bit more work, and the difficulty is a bit high. But overall a good jam game. And I love the music.

Neat little game. A couple of oddities though.

The name is a bit odd. I get that you have to beat each level before the dark shadow thing gets you, but really it's not about speedrunning, should've probably added a timer and some incentive to master and beat each stage as fast a possible instead of just faster than the shadow can get you.

The music is nice, but since each level is pretty challenging I got pretty familiar with the first 2 seconds of the song. Maybe you should not have made the song restart when you restart the level also, so that I could've heard more of the song.

Last and probably least important is that I couldn't use the D-pad to move, only analog stick, which a lot of people don't like for 2D platformers with digital movement.

Other than that it's a cute little game that I enjoyed, the graphics were perfectly nice. Would've liked to see a bit more variation in the gameplay as well, but I guess you were probably strapped for time like the rest of us :)

I'm afraid I couldn't quite get into this one, the music was a little distracting with it looping at every death, and sometimes the player would get stuck on the podiums, making the already tight jumps and timing even harder.

I do like the idea of a time limit for every level, but maybe best hard coded rather than in the form of a ghost or spirit chasing you.

To me it was quite challenging. The background music is... interesting! It gave me a smile but was a bit repetitive in the end.  I like the character design and animations!
