Ranked from 7 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does you game fit the theme?
This game acknowledges the fact that it is not real, and reacts as such. Simply attacking enemies does nothing, as you can't physically hurt something that doesn't physically exist. So, the player is tasked with using 3 different types of Energies to corrode and corrupt the enemy's data to defeat them. The narrator also calls out to the player that they are a game and that the player is a player, even commenting on the player's failures.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I made all of the sprites, music, and level layouts from scratch during the jam. The code is also written from scratch, minus a few snippets from tutorials.

Really awesome graphics and sound! I like the casting mechanic although if you run out of magic, there's no way to escape

I enjoyed walking around a labyrinth and finding the items, and managing resources given. I tried this game 3 times but I couldn't reach the end, still a fun experience nonetheless. Also I really like the fact that you made a variant of battle music, it gave me a sense of progression and shows an extra effort to this game.

Combat system is questionable though, it seems like enemy damage is random and it makes the game luck-based rather than strategy-based, and fighting enemies are too risky as there are no direct reward on defeating and them and player can't be sure that there are items in the way after defeating them. The system itself is pretty creative, I would like to see this concept expanded in the future.

Overall I can't think of a reason why this game got only 5 ratings, hope this gets more attention. Nice job :)

Couldn't quite get far into the game, but i love the way you did the game design.
This game really reminds me of undertale in a way, and you did an awesome job on it
Plus the fact that the game closes when you die is just the cherry on top!
