Your graphics is very good, but I had to turn off the audio, so I don't even know if you have background music beside music when text is appearing. I would recommend you focus on repairing jumping - too fast jumping up and too fast falling back.

In what way does your game fit the theme?
A chaotic group of bandits have decided to free all the bonsais in the world. It is up to you to defeat the bonsai bandits and take down their leader, no matter how sturdy he (or she) may be.

Definitely quite funny, the art looks really good, but I don't think it really fits the theme and the lvl design could be better.

- Dialogue should have a skip button.

the art style was cute and the game was fun too, for better camera movement install and use Cinemachine it really makes the camera move the character smoothly

I love how this game looks! The animations were really nice and the dialogue gives some charm to the game. The gameplay feels good too, but I think the camera could still be improved. Good job!

by using something like cinemachine instead of making the camera a child of the player the movement will feel better,
and you could change player jump height .
and the final boss was a little bit weird.
and you could add music for the game.

Totally Ethical Testing AreaCute little game, I love the artwork. The text speed is way too slow though, it felt like I spent more time reading than playing the game. The platforming is decent but there was a lot of blind jumps, either keep all the terrain inside the camera or zoom the camera out more. Good stuff!

CaTrainStopheReally nice job! It's short, but there's not much you can do about that in a game jam. I saw that you put a lot of your time & effort into the art, which payed off - because it looks great! And even though you put a good amount of time into art, you still were able to create good gameplay that does not feel like there's anything wrong with it. Good job, make more games.
All that I can think to add later on is more areas to explore, probably more going on with the boss, perhaps things that change up the gameplay - but overall it was a really good job with your usage of time.
I would also appreciate if you rated my submission, I'm trying to rate a lot of games - so if you do too that would be greatly appreciated.
