Wah, this was really fun! The narrative with the gangs, the funky music, the simple mechanics and the cute and distinctive graphics really work together up to a interesting game. I am really bad at playing it, but I feel you've designed something pretty adictive!

Cosmic Dave: Milk WizardVery hard and chaotic game, yet very fun to play! only thing I noticed (could just be me) but when the shopkeepers comes around the whole game pauses when Im near them, so if I am passing by to collect money to buy something in the shop I am getting stopped by them. Thinking it would be best to have it on a hotkey or something.
But this is a game jam so I know we dont have time for everything, this is just a comment for if you are expanding on this idea

Parasite Minesthe look and sound of this game is pretty great. i really like the character portraits on the title screen, they look great and fit the vibe perfectly. i also really liked the sporty music, it fit right into the game. the game itself is really innovative, i've never really seen anything like it before. however, the gameplay needs some more polish. the movement code is a little janky, moving diagonally was really slow for some reason. the hitboxes didn't work a lot either, i had to repeatedly walk over money for it to be picked up. in addition, once the balls are out there's no real way to kill your enemies except sending another one out (which increases your chances of dying) or trying to lure them into the path of one (which is extremely difficult). maybe an object that attracts enemies to a location could've fixed this problem (but that's up to you to decide)

Wow! Okay this is genuinely just so impressive. The gameplay is flawless and feels so god and dynamic. The amount of ways you have created for the ball to interact and act is so much fun and keeps it feeling fresh. Then you have great dialogue and different characters that all have different personalities and a really interesting way of incorporating NPCs and shops! I loved this game to pieces and am endlessly impressed! Great job!
