In what way does your game fit the theme?
A cat that can only move backwards by rewinding the tape? What's more rewind-y theme than that?

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Most of the code is written by scratch with the few exceptions of forum helps and tutorials. The music is either made by the team or taken from https://freemusicarchive.org/

This is really neat, the art style is great and I like how varied the levels are and they all look fun and have fitting music - As I played I kept looking forwards to seeing what the next level was like, well done :) The rewind mechanic to go backwards is cool too and the movement feels pretty solid

The one small thing that caught me was that I accidentally pressed the skip level key when I was meaning to restart the level. Maybe the skip key should not be so close to other keys you'd normally press during gameplay?

Either way a nice fun game :)

The level graphics were made by Laudyne and I love them all, specially the rock ones.

I guess we could put the skip inside the pause menu, it was originally a way to test the levels quickly and never changed it :)

Awesome stuff, visuals and audio were brilliant! The rewind mechanic was really fun, although a little difficult to execute well enough at times.

I love the audio manipulation here. Maybe if you had more time had different levels where you boosted the base or used different wave sources.

Developer

Thank you, we had some ideas for audio manipulation but could implement due time constrains.
