I was trying to see how it fits the theme and them it hit me. Trust No 1 :P Simple and enjoyable.
very literal take on the theme, i like it!
the gameplay's also fun, although i feel like it should be getting more difficult and there should be a penalty to hitting a wrong number. i honestly stopped at a score of 550 since i felt like i had seen everything.
apart from that, really well executed. visuals look good, music fits, and the fridge magnet story is also really innovative and quirky.
good job!
Simple but addictive)))
simple fun game. by the end of it i was good at using my number pad again. could have used some more complexity. maybe a don't shoot this color or progressing difficulty mechanic. solid for a week long jam.
A fun and enjoyable game, and I had a great time playing it! It could use a little polish in terms of UI and level design as the game is a bit too easy and not really challenging, but for a one-week jam project, it’s a really solid entry
Thanks! Admittedly, I bit off a bit more than I could chew by using Unity's new UI system, and spent way more time trying to get the basics working than I should have
this was a really fun game, creative way to have the aiming be the input, using number pad kinda felt like cheating almost. got to 1000 before i was like i gotta finish my homework Xp.
Lol, thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it so thoroughly!
Having to press a key while they're escaping really feels like trying to aim properly for a shot, the experience matches the intended situation and how it would feel nicely
This is awesome! Great submission :)
Happy you liked it! Thanks for playing!
I loved the idea of having gimmicks for a few numbers, though its unfortunate that the game doesnt get faster the longer you play.
I like the old school graphics for sure!
Thanks for the feedback floofyboyo11!
Pretty much all the art credit goes to my brother, DaBurgerBandit!
Getting faster was definitely something we wanted to implement, but I guess the solution we tried near the end didn't have the effect we hoped. Currently we have multiple spawners that each have a different delay on each of them before they get started, and then they spawn at semi-regular intervals afterwards. If we add more spawners, but with greater initial delays, then we can easily make faster and faster overall spawn rates.
