Nice game, really simple, I enjoyed it
Also it's always great to see a fellow Godot developer :D
Justice to Godot! Ha! Glad you liked it, thanks a lot. :)
Simple but fun idea!
Thanks a ton! :D
Good game! I managed to get a rating of 124 with 25 biscuits, and I managed to get one biscuit with a taste score of 31 just by adding the same ingredient repeatedly lol.
I'm not sure if this is intended behavior or not, but when I finished a biscuit with a low but positive taste score (such as 1 or 2), the customer said the biscuit was "pretty gross", which I personally would only expect to see when I finish a biscuit with a negative taste score, but I may be interpreting it wrong.
I would suggest adding a sound effect or visual in the middle of the screen indicating when you are running low on time, so you know to hurry up, but overall, it was fun! And great for your first game jam!
Thanks so much for the positive feedback! I am truly glad you enjoyed it! :D
This game's like me when I'm in kitchen, randomly adding ingredients until food's good.
lol! I can relate. Glad you liked it!
A simple mechanism but it's a lot of uncertainties and fun! The music fits the scene really well. Great work!
Thanks so much! It means a lot. I’m glad you had a good time!
I like the visual style
Thanks! :D
it was fun and silly, I enjoyed trying your game! A bit like the game "The Right Mix"
Thanks so much!
Nice Concept. Could use a bit of a hint to what the customer might want but other than that good game
Wow! Thanks a lot!
Really wanted to play this game but I use a Mac, sorry :( The premise and art looks nice though!
It’s ok! I really enjoyed your game! (I really do need a web build though)
No mac/browser edition for us poor mac users?
Ha! I’m sorry, I tried a browser port, but it wouldn’t work and I only have windows so I don’t think I can export a Mac build. I’ll see what I can do though!
I like the concept of the game, it's really fun to play.
Thanks very much! I liked yours as well
Very cozy art style, really enjoyed it!
Thanks so much! I’m sincerely glad you enjoyed my game!
feels like this game needs more ingredients, 4 is not enough, but i still got fun
Thanks! I was originally gonna add 6, but I’ve only been using godot for a little less than a month and this was my first game jam. I’m glad you still liked it though! :)
Pretty cool, good game. Btw your submission is a whole exe file. I got scared for a seconds after download it xD
Thanks! I’m glad you like it! Yeah I know it’s an exe file, I always do that with my games because it’d be easier to move to say desktop without having to move all the files and everything. All I did was check the “Embed PCK” in godot when exporting. I’m glad you like it! :D
Agree with other comments - the music got me into a flow state - you picked a good one. I liked how I could change up my play style, try to get the worse score possible... try to get the highest with the least amount of biscuits, same with the most amount of biscuits. I think if you had rewards for things like that it could get addictive and be a fun one for "gotta collect them all" type players like me. Nicely done - no complaints! The art is charming!
Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Pretty cool game, nice job!
Thanks so much! :D
The game was interesting and kept me playing for some time, the visuals were lacking a bit but nothing that broke the enjoyment!
I’m glad you liked it! I tried to make best with the time I had, so I know the visuals aren’t great. I’m glad you enjoyed it though! :D
Audio made it strangely hypnotic - like a mix of completely chaotic and soothing calm. Had fun, thanks for making it! Would be good to have either some skill test involved in choosing the ingredients - maybe order of ingredients changes look of cake or something like that?
Thanks man! I’m glad you enjoyed it! I did plan to add some skill to the game, but this is my first game jam and I’ve only been using godot for a little less than a month, so I didn’t have much time. I’m glad you like it!
You definitely improved the game last time I played it. And although the gameplay is not anything ground breaking it is very relaxing and calming to play which is nice; I think your choices for the audio also help with that a lot. Cozy game for sure.
Thanks so much! I’m glad you liked it :D. I was going for a cozy game
The hot sauce is the secret! I really liked it.
Thank you very much! I’m glad you enjoyed it. :D
