How does the game fit the theme?
When pursuing the challenge of a game jam, it might seem daunting.

But actually, nothing can go wrong!

You could end up with a fantastic game idea which people love, but you could also end up with what seems like nothing. But don't be fooled!

Your experience working on a game jam might have taught you new skills, deeper understanding of the tools you're using, a great time with great people, or simply spending time doing what you love. Making games.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

Easy to learn and quite strategic! I'm personally biased since I really enjoy card roguelikes.

The interface is simple but works smoothly. I do think a tutorial on what each shape means would have been great, but they're easy to figure out anyway.

Good job!

Neat idea and it could benefit from some sound but there are some little bugs like you can grab and drop 2 cards at the same time and lose energy wihthout doing anything and at the end I got stuck with a card in hand which leads me unable to finish the game but a well done work for one week period.

played and rated! that definitely matched my experience so far!

Solid idea and well executed, good choice to keep the visuals clean and simple it looked great (and i imagine saved you some willpower). My only notes would be that i only got energy cards once and then they were most of my hand

I did it! \o/

I had play a couple of time to figure out how it worked, specially where I needed to drop each card, depending on its type. Once I figured that out, I was ready to finish this jam and submit my game!

I had some issues with the web version. I couldn't really place the cards, unless I placed them top right? Is that the intention? If so, I think a guide would've been nice :D

GG!

Hey pxlguy,

Thanks for playing our game and for your notice. That sounds odd and not like the intended behaviour. I'll take a look at it :) Usually there are cards with a circle, which go on the whiteboard space, and cards with triangles, which are either immediate buffs for yourself of need to be applied on either the GameJam itself or one of the GameJams Challenge Cards.

Thanks for your feedback :)

Really funny game, original and very close to reality ^^'.
However, I don't think it's very clear how to use the cards, why do you have to place some on the left and others on the right? At first I thought I wasn't allowed to use certain cards.
But in any case good work ;)

Hey Vlopes,

thanks so much for playing :).
Thank you for your feedback regarding the visibility and clarity, which cards can be played where. I agree, this would make playing the game more intuitive and less confusing.
Thanks for your feedback :)

Cool approach to the theme and fancy visuals! Everything was going smoothly until my game engine crashed... 10/10 realistic experience xd.
