Great job! Cool way of making the story appear only if you press E. As for the guards, maybe you could check if they are rotated, and, if they are, set the rotation back to zero and flip the sprites instead
Good effort! It would have been nice if the diamond disappeared when you pick it up. I found it quite funny how the guards rotate around and patrol upside down.
I like the idea of a heist game as a platformer, and it was nice to incorporate story into it with the e button. On a presentation note, why did you rotate the guards (so that they were upside down) instead of just flipping them?
They rotated naturaly in the the path2d I used for them, but for some reason didn't want to flip. So they technicaly shouldn't but I didn't find out how to fix it.
HAHA, I stole the diamond!!
I like it. Really makes you feel you're a thief in a bank heist gone wrong.
Those red rectangles are brutal. :)
I'm very intrigued by the minimalism present; it's almost like progressing the story by moving from still-frame to still-frame. With some more stylization there could be a very unique heist experience to be explored.
simple but very good, small bug when the guards turn they go upside down.
