How does the game fit the theme?
If the player takes any damage, they instantly lose. However, the player can rewind to undo any mistakes. Therefore, nothing can go wrong!
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All audio assets. They are all CC0. Otherwise I made all assets from scratch during the jam.

Love that idea ! rewind in this kind of game is kinda cool :) well done
I absolutely loved the Zelda 1 vibe, graphics are great, well-balanced difficulty, theme match, and the rewind mechanism is really nice. You did an amazing job, congrats!
I really enjoyed that you didnt limit the rewinding! What a fun mechanic! Great game!
Great game and the reverse audio effects are definitely worth downloading - they make it feel great to throw it in reverse and re-puzzle your death!
Also looping all the slimes into one area before cleaving them down was very satisfying! Really enjoyed it!
Loved the retro vibe you were going for.
Simply amazing. The jam games often have nice art, unique ideas but rarely do they have engaging gameplay. And your game does, the combat and movement feel very satisfying, good variety of enemies and nice difficulty progression. The boss fight is very good too, both of the attacks are well telegraphed.
I also like how the game doesn't punish you too much, you just rewind and go again, very refreshing.
Great entry!
This game is fun! You did a really nice job on the pixel art!
I also actually laughed out loud when I read "Shannon"
