How does your game fit the theme?
You are a door in a door purgatory trying to find your own key to open yourself, just to go deeper into the purgatory

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, just got some help from some puntual tutorials for some parts of it.

Super polished and great game feel. Really loving the artstyle especially!

The art style is top notch! My main feedback is not killing players when they miss a jump =(

I think you should change the main image you have for your game to some actual gameplay because the art style is very nice. To someone scrolling through the submissions they might not even notice the game because all they will see is some white text which doesn't look that interesting. The cardboard cutout type aesthetic is very fun, with the goofy explosion effects. I wish there was a way to skip the long intro sequences and just get back into the game though. The long waiting between trials is a bit frustrating.

Here's my notes that I took while playing the game:

- A fast paced movement shooter shouldn't have such floaty jumps. Increase both the gravity and jump strength.
- The explosion VFX doesn't fit the game at all and it's a bad attempt at being funny.
- Failing a jump OR accidentally falling into the pit SHOULD NOT KILL THE PLAYER IMMEDIATELY. This is terrible game design especially combined with the fact that you need to start from the beginning every time you die. It makes the game much more tedious to play for no real reason.
- The theme is very poorly implemented IMO. You could have replaced or even removed the doors in your game and could have gotten the same game. There's no mechanic regarding the doors, they just exist.
- Game looks great and I like the artstyle, but I'd add some "speed lines" when running fast.
- Adding a dash and making the rooms bigger would definitely improve the game. It currently feels really claustrophobic without much room to dodge the enemies, and resulting in stupid deaths like falling into the pit. (yes I'm still mad about that)
- The TV enemy is sick, although very hard to dodge.
- The iron door enemies' aim is way too good and they deal too much damage, causing the player to focus on them at all cost, which could be good, but it isn't, because after you kill them (at least in the earlier phases) the rest of the room becomes a cakewalk. I don't know if there are more enemies in the game because of the really unforgiving deaths.
- The chair enemies are really boring. You just like... jump over them... They are really helpless and should get buffed. Like maybe they could jump to stop the player from jumping over them, or they could have a short dash sometimes etc. Just any way to make their time closing the gap between the player easier.

Overall, great in visuals but has a couple game design issues that need to be fixed.

tu opinion es muy buena, concuerdo contigo

Loved the art style, sin city and max payne feel to me. The voice acting was good too. you did a good job with such little time. very impressed.

This is great, I love the door's voice acting. My only complaints are that it sometimes feels unfair how the enemies bullets are hitscan, the shotgun reload is pretty slow and the hearts block bullets. Everything else is awesome.

Was fun, the menu, and the menu effects is beautiful, but the is too slow

Was fun, it's pretty clean. I've reached phase 5. I encountered two problems wich annoyed me a bit, the heart have hitbox wich block bullets, and when you're too close of a wall/door (I mean the door between rooms), the hitbox of it block your bullet, even when your looking in the opposite direction (not facing it).
