Nice idea. I didn't manage to finish level 5 though, the delay always got in the way and I couldn't flip the sides quickly enough...
(Playing with Pyton 3.8.10 on Ubuntu 20.04)
I love the game. Great idea.
The only negative point is that I died cause there is some kind of delay between switching top and down and the character movement. But nothing serious
Appreciate the feedback :D
Actually you're not the first person to tell me about the delay issue, I put there thinking that the character would only flip at the beginning of the next tile, I put it when I was fixing a bug that the player could flip the maze in the same column where there was an obstacle, but I think it ended up as a bad idea D= need to fix when the jam finishes.
Antivirus won't let me run it :(
Trust me, I sweat I'll not hack your computer D=
no I mean even when I click allow it still stops it for some reason. I'll try again to bypass i
@Afaranha, very clear and solid concept, I completed all the levels. Very nice!
Short and sweet! Interesting use of gravity and objects. I got tricked a couple of times XD Nice one!!
Hi @Afaranha I was looking forward to play your game, but it doesn't want to open. :(
Weird, are you on windows? On windows you just need to run the flipping_maze.exe.
On Linux you need to have pygame installed and just run: `python flipping_maze.py` on terminal. Thank you for the feedback, I'll update the game page with instructions for Linux :)
It says this:
! Cannot execute "C:\Users\carlo\AppData\Local\Temp\Rar$EXa37036.7291\flipping_maze.exe"
Ow, I think the issue is because you're running directly from the zip file, it should work if you unzip it on a normal folder (Not in the temp) and run from there.
Finally, I was able to play it. It was my antivirus that was blocking it.
