How did you interpret the theme?
The majority of the game is dominated by an alternating palette of only four colors, and generally just looks like something simple and pixel-y you'd see on the original Game Boy; I feel.

Though there are specific objects ingame that break that limited color rule for added flair and ease of gameplay purposes. If anyone complains about that uhhh let's just say I interpreted the theme as "Gameboy Color" or something!

How was your experience in this jam?
Good fun! Really satisfied I actually got something done for the first month of the year. This is a relatively small game, so I didn't have to kill myself trying to finish it.

Nice one! This is a great idea and crazy hard!

it has a really good idea but it needs to be balanced somehow. snake is too fast at the start. i like it more if i start slow and get faster as i progress.

I love it! A really nice twist on a classic. I can see it being on the Gameboy or as one of the early cellphone games on a Nokia. It's straightforward but challenging.

I never thought that snake games could have more mechanics, this was great! It was really challenging to keep an eye on the suits while trying not to die and not pick up the wrong suit XD
I just think the snake's movement is too fast for the size of the playable field, I died very fast until I get the hang of the game.
