The buttons in the last level didn't have any feedback when you touched them, so it was pretty hard to figure out that you had to step on the to open the door to the spacecraft.

The second jump would need som kind of effect so you know it exists.

Then you could add some sort of ending dialog that maybe says that you have been accepted.

And then some nice sound effects and make the hitboxes for the spiky flowers smaller so the fit more with the shape of the flower, because when you die out of not even touching the flower, you get pretty frustrated.

But the character is really responsive which is nice and you never feel like you don't have the the control and then the game is also really nice for speedrunning, because of the timer.

Thank you for playing the game and giving feedback stutte! I did really want to reply on each one of these even though that would mean a long comment and none of it will be implemented before the jam ends, but still..  So I do really get that the buttons needed feedback when I think about it, otherwise it is hard to understand as you say. Yea, that jump would also need some kinda effect, would not even be hard to add. Then about that ending dialogue, yeah it could have been more fleshed out, definitely. That were more about I had no time left to make the game and I had to make the timer, so yeah, I made that stuff really fast. I did really wanna add sound effects, but that were a matter of time too. About the hitboxes I felt pretty stupid when you said that. I coulda have literally made that in seconds and it were a thing that I felt were frustrating too.

As a rookie I do really appreciate criticism and feedback, so thank you for taking some time and write some!

Oh... this comment were really long... sorry

Actually, i think you could make this a whole game with more levels and more refinement overall!

And if you ever want any help, just tell me. I can code, art, some sound and music but most of all design.

Might make a fully fleshed out game about this, dunno, with more time I do think I would be able to make a quite good game, Anyways, thanks for your feedback, I will definitely keep it in mind for whatever I wanna do next

why is the second level so hard?

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you so much for playing the game, Wahe mit dem tee! I didn’t realize that the second level were so hard, maybe you are trying to go a different way than I meant the level to be played? But if you are doing it the right way that is just a good thing since the game is so short and a harder level just increases the length of the game.
