Very good levels. I like the physics and playing the game felt great.
Thank you so much! I'm very glad to hear that.
Can't believe this was made in only two days - very impressive, good job! The movement feels pretty good and zipping around while changing modes was fun. The main thing I'd love to see is controller support. I've always felt that platformers are at their best on the sticks. Other than that your direction seems good and interesting for a puzzle platformer.
Thank you so much! And yes, I completely agree that this would be even more fun with controller support. Thank you for taking the time to play!
I can only add to what people said before me: this feels great! I initially had problems with switching the color because I was moving with the arrow keys and to me it felt weird moving and switching with the same hand. For only two days of work you have nailed the movement really well and I did like the levels. Although in the last level I find it easier to just wall jump off of the left wall instead of going right. I think if you would add an interesting narrative to the finished project you could have something really good on your hands!
That's great to hear! And yeah, as a level designer in the industry, those levels were not up to par lol. And I totally agree, I might continue this project and look into adding some interesting narrative to it similar to Meat boy or Celest. Could make for a cool game with a story and a art pass
Given that I could only fit the core features into this jam, feel free to break them down! Let me know what feels good and what feels bad, I want to make a really smooth, fast, and responsive platformer so input is extremely valuable!
great! I think theres potential for a much longer game here! I wanna see mid-air color switching, maybe even more than just two colors! good movement like the others said
Thank you! Unfortunately I only heard about this jam a couple days before submission ended, but I would have LOVED to add more levels and potentially new mechanics/features!
the movement is really good! good job!
Thank you
Love that movement! You totally nailed the satisfying controls, slippy where it needs to be but grippy and responsive overall
Thanks!
