- This is a tough game to balance within the time constraints of a game jam. Vechicle's are tough to get right. The difficulty curve of the game will be hard to get right under these paramaters and is one area that let you down here as well. The drifting is really good, the responsiveness could use some work. Respawn is bang on. Some design elements could be tweaked slightly. The darkness in particular, are you aware of the lighting limits in webgl? Has the lighting been generated properly when changing scenes? Things are a tad dark, if you need some pointers on this area please feel free to pm me or post on discord. The game name is funny but ill tell you this from experience, publishers don't want too see stuff like this (im on your side here from a devs perspective but from experience myself and the other judges took the publishing side.) Take our platform for example that name just wouldnt fit anywhere. If you need any feedback or support flick us a message on discord.

Love it! I think it fit very good the theme. The respawn system is very good because is fast and at least when you compete against time you don’t want to lose time. As a recommendation the same that other mentioned before the music bugs and the optimization but we know this is for a game jam so pretty good job!

though needs more polishing, controls feel laggy at some point.
I agree on the polish- this was my first driving game, and while I can do a pretty solid fps, or a twin stick shooter in a week driving still eludes me.
the control is not good the music is noise and the idea is kinda good its not for me but overall a good game

i played it again cus i felt like my comment was a little mean so my opinion is that the game is good and hard but the only problem i had is that i can't drift if am not pressing up/w that was what made it uncomfortable also the music is good for the game vibe also i tried your game "its-not-like-the-power-of-the-amulet-is-gonna-corrupt-me-right" its funny how you name your games and that game was perfect for a prototype if you willing to make it a full game in the future i will be the first one to buy it
You need to try "I spent last week dismantling the mob (but enough about me, how was your weekend)"! I had a bit more time to develop that one, and if you enjoyed "it's not like the amulet..." this will be right up your alley!

Now, if more slow paced and deliberate shooters are your game, you can check out my first jam game ever "While you sleep, I hunt ghost's with the pope's revolverWhile you sleep, I hunt ghost's with the pope's revolver". This one's doesn't work in browser, but I think has an original premise.
Music change is bugged some way :/
I love the idea. If this supports gamepad it would probably feel right but with keyboard the car flops like a fish. If you were able to bring in more polish then this would be very fun. Great idea, not enough time. Its good :P
If this was a longer game jam/ not my first driving game it would be slightly better. Gamepad controls were supposed to be there, but my last day was spent on fixing a critical bug until midnight. I'll most likely do a post-jam update fixing controls, and maybe some minor stuff.
I'm sure someone likes this game and it's pretty good just not for me lol.

just one issue the drifting is way too high but other than that it was fun!
I'm thinking of reworking the controls after the jam. Adding a handbrake to drift, less responsive turning, that kind of stuff.
